Mr. Garlan Eugene Boggs, 57, a lifelong resident of Williamston, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025, at his home.

A Celebration of Garlan's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday February 28, 2025, in the chapel of Walker Funeral Home, Williamston with Pastors Chris Haddock and Brian Perry officiating. Chris Haddock and Doris Stevenson will provide the music. Burial follow at Martin Memorial Gardens with the following serving as pallbearers: David Rawls, BJ Nicholson, Jake Lamarche, Marty Nicholson, Mike Spruill, and Dustin Rawls. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Taylor, and Allen Raynor.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home on Spring Green Road, Williamston.

Garlan was born in Robersonville on April 23, 1967, to Betty Scott Boggs and Garlan Gene Boggs.  He was employed by Asplundh Tree Cutting Service and enjoyed fishing, drawing, camping, and collecting knives and swords.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Gary Boggs and wife Melissa; nephews, Garrett Boggs and Kayla Pierson, Greyson Boggs and niece, Camellia Boggs and his grandmother, Viola Allen all of Williamston.
