Dateline:  Windsor, NC

Mr. Fred John Lozen, a resident of Sterlingworth St. Windsor, and a past resident of Colorado, died Tuesday afternoon at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, after a lengthy illness.  Per his wishes, there will be no service or visitation.

Fred was born July 18, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Cecil A. and Norma Kitzman Lozen.  He served over thirty years with the US Coast Guard as a Chief Engineer for the Merchant Marines.  On August 15, 2020, he married the love of his life, Anita L. Moran and later relocated to Windsor to be near his daughter.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Lozen.  Survivors include in addition to his wife, one daughter, Em Lozen of Wake Forest and one sister Carol Ann Cooke of Midland, TX.  Other survivors include his three fur-baby's, Zeva, Trouble and Mischief.
