Francis Ray Crochet, 88 of US Hwy 17, died Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at ECU Inpatient Hospice.

Francis was born on August 10, 1934, in Houma, LA, to the late Albert and Cecile Savoie Crochet. He was a retired office clerk with Texaco Oil Company. Francis was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He served his country in the US Marine Corps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Rogers Crochet, and a brother Leroy Crochet.

Survivors include; sons, David Wayne Crochet of Williamston, Barry Francis Crochet of Loreauville, LA, Patrick Wayne Crochet of Ridgeway, SC and Timothy Michael Crochet of Howell, MI.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Chet Artysiewicz and Father Barry Crochet officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.

The family will be receiving from the home. Memorial contributions may be made to a veteran's organization of one's choice.
