Frances Leggett Peed, 68 of Airport Rd., died Thursday, August 13, 2020 at her home.

Frances was born on March 31, 1952 in Martin County to the late Mack Henry and Lorraine Taylor Leggett. She was an office assistant with Tideland Mental Health. She was a member of Community Christian Church and loved to be outside and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Freddie Herman Peed of the home; daughter, Charlene Harris (Michael) of Williamston; son, Ashley Peed of Williamston; sisters, Sandra Moore, Margaret Stott, Gail Leggett and Linda Howell; grandchildren, Camren and Allie Peed, Dylan Johnson, Jace and Harper Harris.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Community Christian Church.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening, August 16, 2020 from 2 PM until 7 PM at 5250 Wildcat Rd.
