Frances Gibbs Cole Naylor of Plymouth, NC died Thursday, December 12, 2019.

Mrs. Naylor was born on June 10, 1922 in Hyde County to the late Herbert Evans Gibbs and Lessie Lee Selby Gibbs. She was a retired seamstress, having worked with Belk Tyler, Sarah's Fabric. She was a member of the Plymouth Church of Christ, the Eastern Star and was a member of the Plymouth Lioness Club. She was preceded in death by husbands, Leslie Cole and Olen Clyde Naylor; sons, Jackie Lane Cole and Jimmie Evans Cole; sisters, Hazel Shepard and Herma Midgette.

Survivors include; son, Leslie Cole, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; step-sons, Christopher Steve Naylor and Olen Clyde Naylor, Jr. of Greenville, NC; step-daughters, Susan Elaine McInnis of West End, NC and Wanda Marilyn Steinback of Conetoe, NC; sister, Helen Williams of New Bern, NC, also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Plymouth Church of Christ with Rev. Jay Hardison and Rev. Bob Moulden officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the service on Sunday.
