Fernander Lewis "Pete" Patterson, 86 of Holly Springs Church Rd., died Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Martin General Hospital.

Pete was born on September 23, 1936, in Martin County to the late William and Ruby Davenport Patterson. He was retired as a butcher with Smith Bros. Red and White. After retirement he went to work with Griffin's BBQ in Farmlife, as a delivery truck driver. Pete was a member of Macedonia Christian Church. He loved to fish and loved his family. Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Etheridge Patterson.

Survivors include his daughters, Kim Griffin (Bill) of Williamston and Stacey Bowen (Irvin) of Williamston; son, Jeff Patterson (Stephanie) of Williamston; grandchildren, Allison Bowen, and Jonathan Patterson (Katie); great grandchild, Jackson Patterson.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Greg Sexton and Rev. Dolan Baker officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
