Etta Faye Willoughby Surles 76, of North Academy Street died Monday, July 2, 2019 at her home. She was born in Gates County, NC on August 9, 1942 to the late Hugh Vann and Edna Parks Willoughby.

Faye was a loving mother and once worked at the Little Mint in Windsor, NC.

She is survived by two sons; Travis and Matthew Surles of the home and a granddaughter Taylor Silverthorne; daughters, Loretta Sliverthorn, Brenda Jones, Marie Baines, Delores Baines; brothers Frankie Willoughby; sisters, Mae Brown, Anne Broglin, Nancy Hoggard, and Linda Hill.
