Elsie Taylor Moore 82, a resident of the Bryan Center, died Saturday January 26, 2019. She was born in Bertie County March 7, 1936 to the late James and Lillie Benton Taylor and was predeceased by her husband, James Moore and a sister, Ruby Lassiter.

She is survived by daughters, Loretta Payne of Texas and Jazana Vaughan of Roanoke-Rapids, NC; brother, J. T. Taylor of Eure, NC; special niece, Kim Ireland of Conway as well as 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her honor may be made to a charity of one's choice.
