Ellie Grace Hoggard, one-year old infant daughter of George and Amy Hoggard, died Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center. She was born in Hertford County, December 5, 2018. Ellie was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, George Hoggard, Sr. and her maternal grandfather, Tommy Dawson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the United Outreach Ministries Church. Rev. J. R. Thomas will officiate. A private burial will follow in the Hoggard Family Cemetery.

Survivors include her parents, George S. Hoggard, Jr. and Amy Dawson Hoggard of the home; sisters, Courtney Asbell and her husband Stewart of Windsor, Kiley Sanders of Windsor; paternal grandmother, Kay Hoggard of Windsor; maternal grandparents, Beverly and Billy Bracy of Askewville.

The family will receive friends and family Friday, January 31st from 6-7:30PM at Walker Funeral Home and from the home (304 Hofler Ave) at other times.
