Elizabeth Ann White 82, of White Oak Road, died Thursday, September 29, 2022, at ECU Bertie Hospital. She was born in Bertie County, January 17, 1940, to the late Claude E. and Edna Hoggard White and was predeceased by her husband, William Gilbert White; son, Claude White; brothers, Willie and Nelson "Bimbo" White.  She was a member of Askewville Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and ran the nursery for many years.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Askewville Baptist Church. Rev. Zack Hicks will officiate. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis White and son, Allen L. White (Eva) all of Windsor; grandchildren, Cody White, Hunter White (Ashlyn) Justin White and Holder Dozier.

The family will receive friends from the home of Ashlyn and Hunter White, 438 Askewville Road, Windsor. Memorial gifts may be made to Askewville Baptist Church, 110 E. Askewville Street, Windsor, NC 27983.
