Elinore was born on October 3, 1922, in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Pio Fronzaglia and Francesca Calabrese. Later in life, she moved to New Jersey, where in her early twenties she met the love of her life, Eli Clayton Rogers while he was stationed there. Although they did not have much time to spend together before he was to deploy to Germany, they built a strong relationship through letters, faith and patience, even while he was a Prisoner of War for 2 and ½ years. Once he returned home, they were married on October 27, 1945, and shared 61 wonderful years together.

After their marriage Elinore moved to North Carolina where she raised her family. Elinore loved to spend time outdoors working in her yard and tending to her flower beds. She also enjoyed helping her husband with the garden. When she was not outside, you could find her crocheting blankets, placemats and many other handmade items. Many of these items are still cherished and used today.

Elinore also enjoyed beadwork and crafting, creating Christmas ornaments, jewelry and other items that she would often have for sale during her church bazaars.

Elinore was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a faithful Catholic. Until the last few years of her life, she enjoyed attending Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Her strong Catholic faith was reflected in her devotion to angels, which she lovingly collected throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Eli Clayton Rogers; her brothers, Joseph "Joe" Fronzaglia and Robert "Bob" Fronzaglia; sister, Mary Gartin; and son-in-law, Gerald Holliday.

She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Wainwright and Priscilla Holliday; her grandchildren, Kimberly Phelps, Melissa Futrell (Ashley), Clayton Holliday (Bridget);  her great-grandchildren, Hillary McGinty (Trey), Sean Phelps, Tyler Futrell, Brianna White, Ashley Phelps, Jordan Futrell, Lucas Holliday, Jackson Holliday and Caroline Holliday; three great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews and close friend Barbara Lee.
