Edward Rhodes Robertson, 77 of Grand Canyon Rd., died Sunday January 1, 2023, at his home.

Edward was born on September 15, 1945, in Martin County to the late Edward Hunter and Ethel Saunders White Robertson. He was retired from Embarq as a telephone technician. Edward served his country and was a veteran of the US Air Force. He loved hunting and fishing, watching his children play sports and watching war history documentaries.

Survivors include his daughter, Meredith Robertson of Greenville; son, Edward "Bud" Robertson (Ashlea) of Smithfield, Va.; sister, Sylvia Watkins of Newport News, Va.; grandchild, Hunter Robertson.

A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Walker Chapel, with Chris and Tiffany Hardison officiating.
