Edgar Ronald Cullipher, Sr., 74 of River Creek Dr., died Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Cullipher was born on July, 2, 1947 in Bertie County to the late Edgar Miles and Betty Cobb Cullipher. He was an agriculture research technician with the Peanut Belt Station. Mr. Cullipher served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. He attended Riverview Baptist Church and sang with The Singing Shepherds gospel quartet. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dannace Cullipher.

Survivors include his son, Ron Cullipher and wife Maria of Grimesland; daughter, Robyn Blair Clark and husband Matthew of Winterville; brother, Jackie "Mossie" Cullipher of Rocky Point; sister, Doris Harden of Windsor; grandchildren, Finn Clark, Ariel Cullipher, Madelyn "Maddie" Cullipher.
