With heavy hearts we have to say "See ya later" to our beloved one.

Eddie Corey Conner was born November 19, 1947 to Mack and Annie Conner in Farmville, NC. He attended school in Aulander, graduated from Bertie High School, and served his country in the US Marine Corp.

As a skilled carpenter all his life, having worked for Weaver Cooke Construction Co, Rehab Builders, and most recently Alexander Design Build, he volunteered many hours helping family, friends, and neighbors in need.

Eddie was always a strong athlete in track, softball, football, an avid golfer, and fisherman. He loved to watch the grandchildren play.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Patsy H. P. Conner, one son, Jason (Carolina), his step-children, Sandy Dickens, David Perry (Tracy) and Jan Mizelle (Brent), grandchildren, Alejanda and Gabriela Conner, Caroline, Madison McKenna Perry, Lindsey, Reagan and Lauren Dickens, and Perry and Claire Mizelle, one great grandchild, Abigail, two sisters, Barbara (JR) Hasty and Joyce (Melvin) Nichols and a host of beloved nieces and nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 2:30 PM at Cashie Baptist Church with Pastor Stafford Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 19th from 6-8:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home and from the home at other times.
