Doris White Mizelle 88, of Old US 17 North, died Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Vidant Bertie Hospital.  She was born in Windsor, September 13,1932 to the late Percy Alton and Mildred Sanford White and was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Hubert L. Mizelle; son Hugh Ducie Mizelle; sisters, Nell Ward and Daisy White; brothers, Clyde White and Estus White; grandson, Joey Mizelle. Doris was an active member of Greens Cross Baptist Church.

A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday October 6, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Edgewood Cemetery. Ed Ford will officiate.  The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Survivors include her daughter, Billi Jo Mizelle Hamilton of Belhaven; sons, Rev. Mike Mizelle and wife Lorraine of South Mills, Tim Mizelle and wife Donna of Elm Grove, Rev. Al Mizelle and wife Brenda of Windsor; brother, Carrol White and wife Marie of Jacksonville, FL; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
