On the evening of Saturday, January 20, 2024, Doris Ann Cullipher Harden of Windsor, NC entered into eternal rest while being visited and comforted by family members, and attended by hospice staff at ECU Health Bertie Hospital. Doris was 86 years old.

Doris was born August 2, 1937 to the late Edgar and Vashti Cullipher of Colerain, NC. She was a member of Windsor Assembly of God for over 70 years. She retired from Wrangler after many years of service and briefly served as a nurse at Bertie Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed crocheting, reading her bible, and spending time with family.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Horace Harden; brother, Ronnie Cullipher; sister, Dannace Cullipher and daughter, Bettie Anders.

Doris is survived by one brother, Jackie "Mossie" Cullipher; daughter, Kay Lewis (Doug); five grandchildren - Billy Anders (Kathy), Greg Hughes (Jenny), James "Dougie" Lewis Jr., Melissa Lewis, and David Anders; and five great-grandchildren - Christpher Anders, Anthony Flannelly, Austin Hughes, Ryan Anders, and Aniyah Winborne.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Windsor Assembly of God Church. Pastor Chuck Gray will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the home.
