Dora Ainsley Sfetsos, 73, of Martin Avenue, died Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.  She was born in Tyrrell County, August 8, 1947 to the late Gillard and Sally Edwards Ainsley and predeceased by her husband, Athemus George Sfetsos; sisters, Barbara Smith, Audrey Cahoon and Margie Ethridge and brother, Roger Ainsley.  Dora was a dental assistant with Dr. Dee Marshburn for 32 years.  She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held, Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Westlawn Cemetery at 2:30 PM in Elizabeth City, NC.  Rev. Doug Knox will officiate.

Survivors include her daughter, Candy Jackson and husband Todd of Kinston, NC; brother, Larry Ainsley of Camden, NC; sisters, Rose Baker of Edenton, Juanita Johnson of Elizabeth City, NC, Ruth Holedia of Va, Beach, VA; granddaughter, Sabryn Jackson of Kinston, NC.

The family will receive friends following the graveside memorial service. Memorial gifts may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 100 Chesson Drive, Williamston, NC 27892.
