Donald Ruffin "Carburetor" Cobb 70, a resident of Bucklesberry Rd.  Windsor, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at his residence. Carburetor was born on September 21, 1954, to Wilbur and Reva White Cobb and was a 1972 graduate of Bertie High School. He later married Claudia Mizelle in 1980 and they have been side by side ever since. Carburetor was a retired farmer, avid hunter, and was also the president of the Bucklesberry hunting club. He was also a member of Lawrence Baptist Church where he was active in the Lawrence Baptist Men's Group.

Carburetor was predeceased by his parents, and a brother-in-law, Stanley "Beamer" Hoggard.

Carburetor is survived by his wife, Claudia Cobb, his daughter, Doni Cobb of Windsor, NC, brother, Alan Cobb (Jane Bryant Cobb) of Dawsonville, GA, and one sister Sheri C. Hoggard of Askewville.

A Celebration of "Carburetors" life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor with pastor Scott Bauer officiating, and music provided by Anita Bowen. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the same location, and other times at home.
