Dennis Pesce, 83, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, at Williamston House. He was born July 9, 1942, in Portland, Maine, to Michael and Elizabeth Pesce. He was preceded in death by his parents and his seven brothers: Lewis, Bob, Frank, Michael, Donald, Eddie, and John.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Beatrice Pesce; five children, Becky Pesce (Bill), John Pesce (Louise), Dennis Pesce (Tina), Shawnda Barrett, and David Pesce (Carla). All of his children reside in California except for David, who lives in North Carolina. He was a proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Claudette Muller, along with many nieces and nephews.

Dennis worked for many years as a machinist before retiring to Florida. He later moved to California, where he operated the Dixon Boat Club. Dennis was passionate about aviation and earned his pilot's license, enjoying both flying and building airplanes. He was known for his warm personality and his love of being around people. He enjoyed spending time on carpentry projects, watching old Western movies, and working on puzzles until his health no longer allowed it. Dennis will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love for family, and his enthusiasm for the things that brought him joy. His presence, kindness, and stories will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of his life will be held at 115 Askewville Bryant Street, Windsor, NC 27983 on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
