Dalton Christopher "Chris" Conner, 31, of Thomasville Lane, Windsor died Sunday, January 30, 2022, at his home.  Chris was born in Hertford County on November 5, 1990, to Dalton Gay and Sarah Russell Conner.   He worked as a logger and was a former fire fighter at Center Hill Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department in Tyner, NC.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 4, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel -Windsor, NC.

Chris is survived by his mother, Sarah Russell Conner of Windsor; father, Dalton Gay Conner; daughter, Hayley Conner of Tyner; sisters, Ellen, Nicole, and Jai Pratt all of Merry Hill; Grandmother, Phyllis Leggett of Windsor; and Grandfather, Earl Russell also of Windsor.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Walker Funeral Home, P.O. Box 456, Windsor, NC  27983 to assist the family with Chris's memorial expenses.
