Daisy Burch Davis, 74 of 906 Broad Street, died Friday May 17, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Daisy was born on October 5, 1944, in Hertford County to the late James Vernon and Roxie Taylor Burch. She was a homemaker and a member of Freedom Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James Willie Davis, Sr., brother James Vernon Burch and sisters Minnie Rebecca Burch and Gladys Rae Mizelle.

Survivors include; son, James Willie Davis, Jr (Lisa) of Windsor; daughter Donna Davis of Calabash; brothers, John David and James Robert Burch; sister, Jo Ann Hill; grandchildren, Brandon Daw, Ashley Mizelle and Cari Atwater; great grandchildren, Liam Mizelle.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Jason Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:30PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bertie County Humane Society, 217 County Farm Rd, Windsor, NC 27983.
