Clarence "Buddy" Thomas Todd, 76 of Wakelon Road, passed away Wednesday September 11th, 2024 at ECU Beaufort Hospital in Washington. He was born in Bertie County to the late Clarence Russell and Llewellyn Belch Todd and was predeceased by four sisters, Ann Waldrop, Mary Ellen Copeland, Cheryl Floyd, and Linda Doucette.

He worked as a poultry farmer until his retirement. He was a former member of the Lions Club, Bertie Bee Keepers and loved fishing. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War as a weapons specialist.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Castelloe Todd and they have been married for over 50 years. He is also survived by two sons, Thomas Christopher (Chris) Todd and wife Candy of Williamston, Gregory (Greg) Mathias Todd and wife Marcie of Colerain; a daughter, Brandi (Dee) Elaine Dortch of Sunbright, TN; and brother John (Cotton) Todd of Windsor; grandchildren Nathaniel Garris (Hannah) of Murfreesboro, Fletcher Todd, Grace Todd, Christopher Todd, Amber Dortch, Casey Todd and Thomas Dortch; great grand child, Hunter Garris and special friend Dale Pierce.

A memorial service will be held at Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday September 15th, 2024 at 3:00 PM where Rev. David Pierce, Randy Pierce and Joshua Morris will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 15th from 2:00 PM until service starts and from the home at other times.
