Cindy Lucille Reason Brown, 64 of 2633 Tanbark Dr., died Friday, January 4, 2019 at her home.

Lucille was born on March 1, 1954 in Pitt County to the late Carlton Lancer Reason and Cindy Scott Reason. She was a retired correctional officer with the NC Dept. of Corrections. She was preceded in death by her son, Charlie Brown; brother, Bill Reason and sister, Ann Lane.

Survivors include her husband, Charles D. Brown, Sr.; son, Chris Brown of Rocky Mount; sister, Lorraine Howell of Williamston; brother, Donald Reason of TN; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, January 14, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home in Williamston.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
