Christopher "Chris" Ray Howell 48, of Everetts passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, peacefully at his home. Chris was born on February 24, 1977, to Sherwood Ray Howell and Sherry Whitaker Howell. Chris loved to fish and was a very skilled builder. He worked in construction for most of his life for various companies and himself, and attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

hris is predeceased by his father, Sherwood Ray Howell and a sister, Kelly Howell Coburn.

Chris is survived by his mother, Sherry Whitaker Howell Bowen (Walley) of Williamston: a maternal grandfather, Odis Whitaker (Susan McLaurin) of Williamston: his fiancé, Krissie Madrell of Everetts: daughters, Alyssa E. Howell, Brianna Boyer of Everetts: a brother, Jason Howell of Bear Grass (Stephanie), along with many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Williamston First Pentecostal Holiness Church at 7:00 PM with Robbie Parnell officiating and Terry Strickland, Tommy Gibson, Josh Keel, Derrik Jones, Shawn Woolard and Carter Howell serving as pallbearers. A visitation will be held before the service from 5:00PM to 7:00 PM at the church and other times at the home of Sherry Bowen in Williamston.
