Cherry Warren Gillam 76, of Elizabeth City passed away at Elizabeth City Health and Rehab on January 9, 2025.  Cherry was born on April 20, 1948 in Tarboro to the late Paul Erie and Jean Cherry Warren. She was a member of the Arts Council in Bertie and the Jr. Women's Club until she moved.

A memorial service will be held at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Windsor on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Including her parents, Cherry is predeceased by her husband, Robert Gillam Jr: brother, Paul Erie Warren. She is survived by her son, Rob Gillam of Camden: daughter, Caroline Gillam of Washington DC: grandchildren, Liza Gillam, Francie Gillam, and Bert Gillam.
