Cherry is survived by her five children: Erin Rawls, Raegan Rawls, Ty Price, Catherine Daus and Julia Woods. Cherry is survived by a son whom was not related through blood but through a bond that can never be broken, Avion Pinner. Cherry is also survived by her parents, Catherine and James Price (Big Mike), and siblings, James Price, (Little Mike) and wife Elizabeth Price, Jonathon Price (Jarrod) and wife Laura Price, and James Moore (Mike) and wife Ginger Moore. Cherry is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Sierra Price, Jonathon Price, Josephine Price, James Price, Frances Price, Jamison Moore and Colin Moore.
Cherry was born on the 10 th day of November 1973 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She graduated from Beaufort Community College with a degree in Nursing. She spent her life dedicated to helping her patients. She touched the lives of so many through her career as a loving and caring nurse. Cherry's children were her world and her life revolved around making her kids happy. If she wasn't at work helping others, she was at a sporting event for one of her children, yelling as loud as she possibly could. Her presence will forever be missed.
A graveside ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, January 10 th , 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Price Cemetery on Price Road in Bear Grass. Due to the COVD pandemic, we understand that not everyone will feel comfortable gathering to celebrate Cherry's precious life. However, all are welcome to attend and celebrate Cherry's life that wish to do so.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home and at other times from the home of Catherine and James Price at 3775 Wildcat Road, Williamston, NC 27892. We ask that in lieu of flowers, one can make a monetary donation to a local organization in Martin County (Rescue/First Responders/etc.) or a charity of your choosing.
