Charlie Frank Manning, 90 of Abbitt Rd., died Monday, October 24, 2022, at his home.

Frank was born on November 7, 1931, in Martin County, to the late Paul David and Ida Elizabeth Mobley Manning. He was retired as a Section Foreman with Norfolk Southern Railroad. Frank was a member of Community Christian Church and a US Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. He loved to fish, cut wood, and do anything outdoors. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Frank loved his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Lynn Manning, and sisters, Beatrice Mobley, Emma Jenkins, Jean Roberson, and Isolene Manning.

Survivors include; wife, Synthia Causway Manning of the home; daughter; Debbie Rawls of Williamston; brother, Lewis Manning of Chesapeake, VA; sister, Pauline English of Moyock; grandchildren, Eric Boyd, Tye Boyd, and Synthia Boyd; great grandchildren, Connor Boyd, Beth Coltrain, Banks Boyd and McKinsie Payne

Graveside Funeral services with military honors, will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Martin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gary Bateman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
