Charles Taylor Spruill Jr., 51, of Windsor, NC was born on June 12, 1973, in Edenton, NC to the

late Charles Taylor Spruill and the late Camille Beasley Soule, and died November 19, 2024. He

is survived by his two sons, Brooks and Charlie Spruill, and stepmother Jennifer Spruill. He was

also predeceased in death by his brother, Brooks Spruill; mother, Camille Soule; sister, Claire

Spruill; and father, Charles Taylor Spruill. He attended high school at Woodberry Forest in

Orange, Virginia and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Here he

was a proud member of Phi Gamma Delta and majored in industrial relations.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at St. Thomas Episcopal

Church, at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends at their home, 1042 B Cooper Hill Rd, Windsor, NC on

Friday, November 22, 2024 from 5 to 8.

Taylor was a truly great friend and father who was loved by so many over his lifetime. He loved

all kinds of music and attended many concerts throughout his life, particularly the Grateful Dead

and Widespread Panic. He also loved hunting, offshore fishing, and spending time with his sons.

He will be greatly missed by all family and friends.
