Charles Eason Cherry, 49 of E. Simmons Ave., died Thursday, March 23, 2023 at ECU Health Medical Center.

Charles was born on March 4, 1974, in Martin County to Jesse Eason Cherry and the late Mary Charles Sheppard Cherry. He was a carpenter and loved to hunt and fish. Charles was former president of the Roanoke Fly Club and president for four years of the Jamesville Hunting Club. He loved running dogs and doing anything outdoors.

Survivors include; wife, Dorothy Lytle Cherry of the home; father, Eason Cherry of Cove City; daughters, Delaney Faith Cherry of Vanceboro and Jasmine Anne Howard of Williamston; son, Jacob Alexander Howard of Williamston; sister, Angela Davenport (Guilford) of Windsor; nephews, Logan Drake Davenport and Lucas Dale Davenport; grandchildren, Cherish and Penelope Andrews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Until They Be Told Ministries, 1161 Garrett Rd. Williamston, NC, with Chris Hardison and Joey Hardison officiating.
