Cecil Dean White, 41 of Pocosin Road, died Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.  He was born in Hertford County, March 12, 1980 to Brenda Joyce Temple White and the late Norman "Hinkie" White.  Cecil attended Askewville Assembly of God and worked in construction.  He loved to ride horses and to fish.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Walker Funeral Chapel. Rev. Allen White will officiate. A private burial will follow.

Survivors include his son, Cecil Dean "CJ" White, Jr. of Windsor; mother, Brenda Joyce Temple White of Windsor; sister, Joyce White of Ahoskie, half-brothers, Ray Hughes of Conway, Willie White of Askewville, Norman Lee White, Jr of Windsor and Roger Hughes of Prince George, VA.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM Wednesday June 2 ^nd , before the service at Walker Funeral Home. The family wishes memorial gifts to be made to Walker Funeral Home.
