Carolyn Jean Leggett Powers, a resident of Robersonville, died Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at ECU-Pitt Hospital in Greenville.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Martin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Donlan residence, 1730 Price RD. Williamston.

Ms. Powers was born on August 20, 1944 to Sophie Leggett Leggett, and John M. Leggett. She worked as a health care provider, and attended Rehoboth Church. Ms. Powers enjoyed her grandchildren, gambling, and travel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Earl Powers; daughter, Lisa Jean Donlan; grandson, Devin Cody Donlan; and one brother, Milford Leggett. Survivors include: her grandson, Michael Dwayne Donlan (Crystal) of Williamston, who was the apple of her eye; and her great-grandchildren: Madison Donlan, Abbie Donlan, London Donlan, Eli Donlan. and Lucas Donlan; also surviving is one brother, Walter Leggett of Windsor.
