Obituary

Ms. Carolyn Louise Cox Beach of Windsor, NC took the hand of the lord and walked into his heavenly kingdom on Thursday, June 18th, 2026 just before 4 AM. She had just celebrated her 78th birthday days before.

Carolyn was born in Aulander, NC on June12th,1948 to Paul L. Cox, Jr. and Dora McDonald Butler Cox. In July of 1976 she met and married her husband of 50 yrs, Charles Beach of Williamston NC.

In 1979 she moved to the Outer Banks where she lived for 12 years. She attended College of the Albemarle in Manteo, NC where she graduated with her GED, and her Accounting Degree. She later returned to get her CNA license. She worked in various home care agencies and hospitals. She was proud and loved working with the elderly and those with special needs. She retired in 2005 after 18 years of service.

Carolyn was a very strong willed and brave lady. She had the attitude "There's always more than one way to skin a cat." Carolyn passed this down to her children. She loved to crochet, collect pigs, and rings. She also loved music and would dance around the house with the windows  and the music so loud the whole neighborhood could hear it. Those were her " house cleaning days" but her family was her proudest achievement in life.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Charles Beach of Williamston NC; her brother, David Paul Cox and his wife, Michele of Southport, NC; her 3 children, Carlton "Ray" Tripp III and his wife Amy of Roanoke Rapids, NC, William David Beach residing in Brunswick, MD and Kathy Coppedge Anders and her husband Billy of Williamston, NC; her 7 grandchildren, Brittany, Jacob, Johnny, Emily, Cole, Christpher, Sara, and her 11 great-grandchildren.
