Carla Nicholson Modlin, 48 of Sheppard Mill Rd., died Monday, December 7, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center.

Carla was born on February 11, 1972 in Bertie County to Gail Alston Mills and the late Daniel Watson Nicholson. She was a caretaker and attended the Williamston First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter Brittany Modlin.

Survivors include; mother, Gail Mills (Larry) of Williamston; son, Sgt. Collin Nicholson Modlin (Haley) of South Korea; daughters, Sydney Gibson (BJ) of Stokes and Calley Modlin of Williamston; sister, Shelly Garcia of Williamston; grandchildren, ten.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the Williamston First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Roger Leggett officiating. Burial will follow in Price Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times from 22616 NC 125, Williamston. Memorial contributions may be made to the Williamston First Pentecostal Holiness Church 1000 N. Haughton St. Williamston, NC 27892.
