Mrs. Candy Bembridge Todd, 50, a lifelong resident of the Jamesville area and Frank Barber Road, passed away Friday February 14, 2025, at ECU Medical Center in Greenville.

Candy was born in Martin General Hospital on March 8, 1974, to David Lee Bembridge and Carolyn Mobley Bembridge of Jamesville. She was a graduate of Jamesville High School class of 1992 and later earned her degree in Early Childhood Development, she later married Chris Todd on July 15, 2000. Candy kept children in her home for many years, she loved her babies and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a tremendous supporter to Bear Grass Charter School. Candy loved her children dearly, and her canine companion Landon.

In addition to her parents, Candy is survived by her loving husband Chris Todd and her two boys: Christopher Lyndon Todd and Casey David Todd of the home. One brother, Ernie Lee Bembridge (Paula) of Williamston. Candy was predeceased by her brother David Carrol Bembridge in 2008.

The family will receive friends at Riddick's Grove Baptist Church Friday February 21, 2025 from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM and other times at the home of her parents David and Carolyn Bembridge 1616 Frank Barber Rd.

A funeral service will be held at Reddick's Grove Baptist Church Saturday February 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM with pastor David Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at the Jamesville Cemetery.  Austin Bembridge, Hunter Bembridge, Ryan Boyden, Jackson Pierce, Josh Pierce, James Pierce, will serve as pallbearers; Joey Hardison and David Tarkington as Honorary pallbearers.
