Bryant 'Taylor' Rogerson 85, went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2019. Mr. Rogerson was born on May 12, 1933 to the late Nettie Taylor Rogerson and William Slade Rogerson. He served his country in the United States Army and was married to Marie B. Rogerson who survives. Mr. Rogerson was a retired corrections officer with the NC. Department of Corrections and was a member of West End Baptist Church. He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Anna Edmondson Rogerson; three sons: William Rogerson and Gregory Taylor Rogerson Sr., Billy Moore, and a family of brothers and sisters. Surviving in addition to his wife are three children: Kathy Leary, Keith Rogerson, and David Rogerson. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, and a special friend and companion Lilly.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday March 29, 2019 at West End Baptist Church with Pastor Henry Gray officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church, and other times at the home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
