Brittany Tayte Modlin 30, of Barber Road, died Sunday June 9, 2019.  She was born in Martin County April 7, 1989 to Carla Nicholson and Jackie S. Modlin, Jr. and was predeceased by a grandfather, Danny W. Nicholson.  Brittany attended Williamston Pentecostal Holiness Church.  She was known to be very generous to her family and friends.  She loved cooking and gardening and was a wonderful mother.  Having a great voice, she was scheduled to appear on the TV show  "The Voice".

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 14, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Williamston Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Rev. Roger Leggett and Rev. Tim Bowen will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Price Family Cemetery on the Price Road.

Survivors include her mother, Carla Nicholson Modlin of Williamston; father and step mother, Jackie S. Modlin, Jr. and Maren of Jamesville; children, Brayson, Haley, Addelynne , Nicholas and Nalani: step children, Nadia, Natalie and Nalayna; significant other, Nicholas Grimes of Jamesville; maternal grandparents, Gail and Larry Mills of Williamston; paternal grandparents, Jackie and Brenda Modlin of Bear Grass; sisters, Sydney Gibson of Stokes, Calley Harris of Roper; brother, Collin Modlin of Alexandra, VA.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 14 ^th from 2-3 PM at the Williamston Pentecostal Holiness Church and from the home of Gail and Larry Mills, 22616 NC Hwy 125, Williamston, NC at other times.
