Brenda Elaine Todd Thomas, age 72, passed away Sunday September 7, 2025, at Tarboro Health and Rehabilitation after a long illness.

Brenda was born April 2, 1953, to Jordan Clyde Bazemore and Loftus Todd in Bertie County. She worked at Southern Apparel for many years and attended West End Baptist Church until her health no longer permitted.

Brenda was predeceased by her husband Rodney Thomas, and her parents Loftus and Jordan Todd, and two brothers: Mike and Guy Todd.

Brenda is survived by her son Alton Todd Thomas (Constance) of Beargrass, one stepson; Quent Thomas (Christina) of Jamesville, two grandchildren: Hayden Thomas and Morgan Brooke Thomas of Williamston, and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, no formal service will be held.
