Dateline: Plymouth

Brenda Halsey Privott, 73, a resident of Plymouth, NC  passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, NC after a long illness.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Shadow Of The Cross Church in Jamesville with Johnny Barber officiating and special music provided by Robbie Whitaker. The family will receive friends following the service at the church, and other times at the home of her daughter, Shelia Campbell on Ralph Taylor RD.

Brenda was born on September 18,1951 to the late Margaret Ambrose Halsey and Joseph S. Halsey. She was a homemaker and beloved mama, wife, grandma, and great grandma and went to be with the Lord. Mama never met a stranger, and she loved her family dearly. She had two great grandchildren " Thomas & Bryson" they were her everything !  She fought a very strong fight. She was one of the toughest we have ever seen, but she was tired. We will miss you mama.

Survivors include her loving husband, David L. Privott of the home, daughters: Shelia (Jason) Campbell, Marian (William) Long, Pam Lamb, Cheryl (Robbie) Whitaker, one son, Joey Privott all of Williamston; and three siblings: Patricia Toler, Tammy Williams, and Tommy Halsey.
