Brenda Faye Bullock Grimes, age 72,  of Cody Lane, passed away late Wednesday night January 14, 2026, at ECU Medical Center in Greenville with her loving husband by her side after a long illness.

Brenda was born in Pitt County on April 25,1953 to Sadie Ree Bullock. She served in the U.S. Air Force after graduating from high school. Brenda worked for Hampton Inn before retiring and was a homemaker. She loved her husband, her dog "Riley", puzzle books, watching westerns especially "Gun Smoke", cooking and her family.

Brenda was predeceased by her mother Sadie and daughter, Kimberly Dixon. She was survived by her husband, Jackie Ray Grimes; daughters: Jackie Lynn Grimes and Shannon Marie Grimes (James); and her sister Bobbie Jean Stalls, Seven grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren all of Williamston.

Per Brenda's request there will be no services held.
