Billy Ray Wainwright, 46 of Wynn Rd., died Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at his home.

Billy Ray was born in Pitt County on January 2, 1975, to Betty Frances Crisp Jones and the late Ronald Lee Wainwright. He was a technician with Clegg's Termite and Pest Control. He loved fishing and gardening.

Survivors include; mother, Betty Frances Crisp Jones and husband Ralph of Williamston; brothers, Ronald Lee Wainwright, Jr. and wife Gwen of Rocky Mount and Robert Whitaker of Florida.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Tim Bowen officiating. The family will be receiving friends at 1157 Wynn Rd. Williamston, NC
