Mr. Billy Joyner age 63 went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2019. Mr. Joyner was born on March 10, 1956 to the late Hebrew Joyner and Lizzie Norris Joyner. He was injured in a fall as a young man and as a result was left with lifelong disabilities.  His hobbies were gardening, cooking and music, especially AC/DC.  Survivors include a daughter, Misty Dawn Joyner (Troy Hencye) of Williamston, NC; two sisters: Vickie Wells (GT) of Falkland, NC and Marie Hinnant (Phillip) of Rocky Mount, NC; two brothers: Harry Joyner (Elaine) of Muary, NC and JW Joyner of Rocky Mount, NC. Other survivors include: one granddaughter, Kaylee Hencye of Bear Grass, NC and one step granddaughter Ashlee Hencye of Englewood, FL; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Mr. Joyner's life will be held at 6:30 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the First Christian Church of Greenville, NC. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 6:30 PM at the church prior to the service and other times a the home of his daughter on Sweet Home Rd. Williamston.    In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial donations in his honor be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
