Billy Ray Cabe, 75 of Lee House Rd., died Thursday January 27, 2022, at Vidant Medical Center.

Billy Ray was born on July 9, 1946, in Martin County to the late William Oscar and Nettie Elders Cabe. He was a self-employed farmer and truck driver.  He loved farming and caring for his animals.

Survivors include; wife, Sherry Harrell Cabe of the home; daughter, Vickie Cabe of Robersonville; son, Darrell Cabe of Robersonville; grandchild, Christopher Craft.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Martin Memorial Gardens with Donald Lewis officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to assist with Billy Ray's funeral expenses.
