Bettie Jean Mizelle Warren, 79, of Linkenbourough Drive and formally of Askewville, NC, died Saturday August 3, 2019 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Bertie County, NC on April 6, 1940 to the late Jimmy and Elsie Harmon Mizelle and was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Joseph Dunlow; sisters, Judy Askew and Joyce Dickens; brother, David Lewis Mizelle and a great granddaughter, Hannah Dunlow.  Bettie Jean was a member of River Oak Church in Chesapeake.  She was formally employed by GE and Walmart.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Walker Funeral Chapel in Windsor, NC.  Rev. Jake Dunlow will officiate.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Ed Warren of the home; sons, Joseph Dunlow and wife Amber, Mickey Dunlow and wife Sue, Max Dunlow and wife Julie, all of Chesapeake; brother, Jim L. Mizelle of Askewville; grandchildren, Jake, Zack, Ethan, Mason, Courtney and Conner Dunlow, Devyn Curling and Caitlin King; 12 great grandchildren.
