Barbara Rose Modlin Revels, 75 of Ray Street, died Friday, June 12, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Revels was born on May 27, 1945 in Martin County to the late Galem "Trailer" and Cora Hines Modlin. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church (DOC), the Martin County Genealogical Society and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She loved to read. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cleophus Revels, Jr.

Survivors include; daughters, Ann Phelps (Bobby) of Creswell and Catherine Revels of Aurora; sons, Joseph "JoJo" Revels (Tammie) of Williamston and Galem Revels (Tina) of Williamston; sister, Bonnie Modlin Robertson of Williamston; grandchildren, BJ Biggs, Joey Revels, Amber Revels Stocks, Chris Horton, Jonathan Revels, Kayla Revels, Paige Modlin, Lindsay Goupil; great grandchildren,  Ashlee Horton, Gracie Biggs, Bentley Horton and Quinn Revels;, Ana Modlin, Karleigh Riley, Kamryn Riley and Dakota Pierce.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. John Carawan officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home in Williamston at other times from the home.
