Barbara Whitley Bullock 63, died April 10, 2019 at her home.  She was born in Pitt County on September 25, 1955 to the late Edward Earl and Lillian Glynn Stalls Whitley.  She was a switchboard operator at Martin General Hospital for 23 years.  Barbara married the love of her life Doug Bullock on June 2, 1974.  She loved crafts, poetry, and being a wife and mother.  Barbara was known for always being there for her family.

Funeral service will be held Monday, April 15, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Walker Funeral Home Chapel.

Survivors include her husband George Douglas Bullock, Sr. of the home; daughters, Danielle Nicole Manning and husband Marvin of Robersonville, Brittany Ann Bullock of Williamston, adopted daughter Zeophie Pitt of Bethel; sons George Douglas Bullock, Jr. and Christopher Lee Bullock both of Williamston; sisters Judy Whitley Braxton and Edna Whitley Tate both of Greenville, Pat Whitley Rogers of Scott Neck, Shirley Whitley Roberts of Oak Island; bother Robert Edward Whitley of Jamesville; grandchildren Macon Reese Bullock, Lara Taylor Bullock, Logan Christopher Bullock, Alana Jade Lassiter, Lucas Xavier Bullock, Kahlan Rae Manning, Hayden Nicholas Manning, Dakota Jace Briley and soon to be baby Harrell as well as  four adopted grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Walker Funeral Home and at other times from the home.
