Barbara Jean Ange went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2019 after a long illness. She was born in Martin County on October 24, 1945 to late Theodore Roosevelt Ange and Mary Stewart Ambrose Ange. Barbara was also predeceased by her brother Carol Eason Ange.  She was in the 1965 graduating class of Plymouth High School, and was a member of Macedonia Christian Church. She enjoyed puzzles and paint by number crafts.

A graveside celebration of her life will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Plymouth. Reverend Dolan Baker will be officiating.  Adam, Caleb, and Kerry Ambrose will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday morning May 14, 2019 from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston and travel to the cemetery in procession. The family will receive friends at other times at her home.

Survivors include: Her cousin Claud Ambrose Jr. (Patrice) and their children Adam, Jennie, Caleb, and Kerry Ambrose of Williamston; Sister In-law Darlene Ange of Winston Salem, Nephews: Allan Ange (Jessica) and their son Eason of Sylva, NC, and Andrew Ange (Samantha) and their daughters Brylee and Shayla of Elkin, NC.
