Arnetta Pierce Roberson of Hamilton left this earth at the age of 85 to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, August 16, 2024.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday August 20, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pastor Jonathan Knox will be officiating with Pastor Derek Bossolono assisting. Drew Hopkins, Timmy Smith, Gavin Dudley, Bryson Fair, Brayden Fair and Ryan Roberson will be serving as Pallbearers. Special music provided by her son- in-law Todd Fair and Karen Penman.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, one hour prior to the service at Walker Funeral Home.
Arnetta was born July 22, 1939, to the late Robert Lee and Maxine Lee Pierce. Arnetta served on the Board of Elections, volunteered as an EMT-D for the town of Hamilton and worked as a District and Superior Court Reporter for over 30 years. She attended Oak City High School and graduated Salutatorian of the Class of 1957 where she was voted "Most Dependable." Shortly before graduating, she married Bennie Earl Roberson Sr. on January 18, 1957. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, and loved working in her flowers.
Arnetta was predeceased in death by her parents, Robert and Maxine Pierce, her husband Bennie Earl Roberson Sr., and a brother, Charles Pierce.
Surviving are her children, Bennie Barton Roberson (Kellye) of Ashboro,NC, Christopher Blaine Roberson (Susan) of Summerfield, NC, Anthony Brent Roberson (Nancy Ann) of Bath, NC, Bennie Earl Roberson Jr, of Bear Grass, NC, Elizabeth Roberson Fair (Todd) of Benson, NC, and Blanka Grochla of Germany (Like A Daughter).
She is survived by her brother, James Pierce of Williamston, NC, eight grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
