Archie Benjamin "Benny" Hardison, Jr., 65 of Everetts Rd., died Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Martin General Hospital.

Bennie was born on November 28, 1957, in Martin County, to the late Archie Benjamin and Mittie Marie Goodrich Hardison. He was a maintenance worker at Anns House of Nuts. Bennie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and skiing. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Wayne Hardison.

Survivors include his common law wife, Kay Hicks of the home; stepson, Terry Strickland of Everetts; stepdaughter, Tonya Strickland of Everetts; sister; Denise Madison of Raleigh; sisters-in-law, Ann Hardison of Williamston, and Shirley Hurst of Everetts; brother-in-law, Wayne Reason of Everetts, one niece and two nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Until They Be Told Ministries, with Pastor Chris Hardison officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
