Anna Sanford Moore 74 of Hollow Pond Road, died Wednesday January 30, 2019 at her daughter's home in Raleigh. She was born in Bertie County January 26, 1945 to the late Howard E. and John Sam Harden Sanford and predeceased by her husband, James Edward Moore in 2013; sisters, Flora Rawls, Essie Silverthorne and Thelma Hoggard.

Anna was a homemaker and member of Macedonia Christian Church.

Funeral service will be held Saturday February 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Macedonia Christian Church. Rev. Greg Sexton and Rev. Dolan Baker will officiate.  Burial will follow in Skewarkee Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Felicia Moore Barrow and her husband, Neal of Raleigh; brother, J. H. Sanford of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren, Rachel and Ben Barrow.
