Angelia Faye Copeland Black, age 66, of Edenton passed away Friday, February 20, 2026 at Hertford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Angelia was born on December 10, 1959 in Bertie County to the late Lionel and Naomi Copeland. She worked at Edenton Dye and Works Plant and she loved flowers and her doggies, Buster and JoJo.

Angelia is predeceased in addition to her parents by sons: Robert Earl Taylor, Wally Lee Black, Jr. and two brothers: William Copeland and David James Copeland.

Angelia is survived by her fiancé, Raymond Phillips of Edenton; a son, Phillip Ross Taylor (Danielle) of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren, Leaha Nicole Taylor, Cameron Brock Taylor; and one great grandchild, Elaina Marie Taylor.

Per her wishes no service will be held.
